Located in the heart of St James’s at the centre of the London art market, we are a privately owned gallery and since 1977 have been specialising in 20th Century British Art with an emphasis on Post-War and St. Ives. A member of the Society of London Art Dealers, Paisnel Gallery prides itself on a discreet and accessible service.
Exhibitions are held throughout the year, the most important being our annual 25 Year Show. The 3rd annual show in 2009 will feature paintings and sculpture from 1953 to 1977, each representing an excellent example of the artist’s work for the chosen year.
These exhibitions have included works by Trevor Bell, Sandra Blow, Martin Bradley, Bernard Cohen, Paul Feiler, Sir Terry Frost, William Gear, Adrian Heath, Patrick Heron, Ivon Hitchens, Roger Hilton, John Hoyland, Peter Lanyon, Ben Nicholson, Michael Rothenstein, John Cecil Stephenson, John Tunnard, Frank Avray Wilson and Bryan Wynter. We are always looking to purchase or consign works of art from private collections particularly by these artists.
We represent several artists and plan solo exhibitions of their work.
John Plumb (1927 – 2008)
Peter Haigh (1914-1994)
Antony Donaldson Born 1939
Jeremy Gardiner Born 1957
