VERA SPENCER - PAINTINGS & COLLAGES 1950'S - 1960'S

Throughout the 50's and 60's, Vera Spencer exhibited in Paris, Brussels and London, oil paintings, watercolours and collages. She perfected the art of producing a calculated and almost intoxicating effect with combinations of pure colour and precise placing of lines and rectangular shapes creating weightless shapes and oblongs which appear to float over the surface.
