Mitchell frequently experimented with other mediums apart from bronze and stone sculpture. He produced 'drawings' normally incised on gesso prepared boards and a number of reliefs primarily with slate and bronze. In Untitled 1965 the iconic '60s cork tile provides support to selected bronze and perspex shapes.
